Strength Training Workout

Trying to achieve a truly complete full body workout that will enable the exerciser to get the maximum results in the least amount of time, is a matter of quality intense repetitions with accurate natural movement and resistance.

If you are an individual (men and women) that is a fitness beginner, or haven't discovered the program that is reaping the results your looking for, there is a system that has kept me in excellent shape for the past 35 years.

The Chicago Health Club (Bally's Total Fitness) enabled me for almost 15 years to get a good effective workout. And if your cramped for time like most people, how does someone go about getting a productive fitness program in the least amount of time?

The regimen relied on a continuous, non stop, progressive muscle group rotation workout and as Bally's popularity grew, so did the crowds, preventing me from being able to effectively use the system that was working out really well for me. I ended up quiting and it would only cost me $50.00 a year for life. Instead I've been using a workout program that duplicates the one I started using in the 70's and still use to this day.

The introduction of the Nautilus machines was the best thing that happened for me as far as my fitness goals were concerned back in 1973 when I first joined Bally's. I was using free weight just like everyone else but really felt so much better if I was able to get an intense nonstop routine going and usually there was some sort of waiting around for the proper weights, so the Nautilus full body non-stop regimen was perfect and allowed a very beneficial workout in only one hour.

My fitness goals are like most peoples, just looking to have a nice healthy physique, not a barrel chested, muscle ripping physique. I am a littlle ripped though, the regimen simply produces results. Including no luv handles and maintaining strength and flexiblity as I get older.

The key to the success of this regimen is the non-stop continuous full body muscle group rotation, consisting of three sets of ten reps of each muscle group. Once you begin, there is no resting between sets and when done correctly, the muscle building affects will be noticable on each rep. This is an intense workout and isn't recommended for the unconditioned body so be sure you have conditioned yourself for a week or so before you apply this but the benefits are worth it.

It works so well, I now only need to spend 45 minutes, 3 days a week to stay in shape now, since I no longer need to get in shape. If your fitness goals are more aggressive, simply workout for 4 or 5 days out of the week. I personally wouldn't recommend more than an hour of this per workout. First set, upper body routine (chest, arms, back or shoulders), then immediately lower body (legs, buttocks, or abdomen) then back up to upper muscle group and continually keep rotating between all muscle groups until you finish off with some cardio routines.

Applying more than one kind of exercise per muscle group is also vital for the complete body sculpting effects. Arm routines will include both triceps and biceps for example.

Never, ever, begin your workout regimen without warmingup and stretching first and always include at least ten minutes of cardio.

Duplicating the Nautilus equipments effective full body workout, was accomplished by accurately anchoring four sets of bands, three with handles, so I would be able to complete an uninterrupted, intense, muscle building, fat burning, body sculpting workout, beneficially done in under an hour.

When performed properly with good posture and resistance, you can feel the effects hours afterwards and will notice a physical transformation in about two to three weeks and a significant change in about a month, depending on your workout ethics and commitment.

No fitness program is complete unless there is a good nutritional diet plan involved.

This is also a great workout for women that are looking to tone and strengthen, while maintaining weight control. By using less resistance and more reps it will have more of a fat burning , muscle toning, body shaping effect.

A total physical conversion can be maintained with this regimen when done with regularity.
